In an exclusive interview with PUSH.com.ph, Pinoy Big Brother 737 former housemates Tommy Esguerra and Miho Nishida shared their experiences during their recent trip to the United States where Miho got to meet Tommy’s family.
“Masaya kasi akala ko, hindi naman ako nakakaintindi ng English pero marunong naman sila mag-Tagalog at kinakausap nila ako in Tagalog kaya hindi naman ako nahirapan at na-enjoy ko talaga ng bongga,” Miho said.
Tommy proudly shared how his girlfriend Miho and his mother got along well. “Well, I see that her and my mom can be like best friends. While we were there, they hang out more than I got to hang out with Miho… They would go and leave me and hang out for the whole two or three hours, I have to go looking for them.”
Tommy added, “It was, for a me, a really great trip because the most important for me is whether or not, my girlfriend and my mom can get along… but they got along well, really well. Actually, I was surprised at how well they get along because I thought you know, you’ll never know, maybe they’ll be nice to each other but won’t exactly be friends but man, they were hanging out and talking and drinking.”
Having celebrated their second month together last February 19, the couple preferred to keep their gifts for each other a secret. “Well, we kind of celebrated it on Valentine’s day… It’s kind of a personal gift,” Tommy said.
