With the newfound fame and success after his Pinoy Big Brother stint, Tommy Esguerra remarked that he feels definitely blessed for all the new opportunities coming his way. “They’re blessings and you don’t expect these things to happen in your life but when they do you can’t feel nothing but gratefulness for the fact that these things happen. Life is not perfect and you have some ups and downs but this is an up and I’m just going to make the most out of it,” he said in an interview with Push.com.ph.
When asked about what he thinks is the edge of his team-up with Miho Nishida over the other love teams in the network, Tommy responded, “I don’t know, I mean what me and Miho have is real but it’s also weird. Everyone knows it’s a weird match up, that’s what everyone says.
“I think we’re the most unlikely people to be together considering that we don’t speak the same language when we first started dating and talking but when we met we haven’t been speaking the same language. I don’t know we’re a very awkward couple but it’s real, it’s not made up stories. What we have, that’s real life. We’re not 100 percent all the time. We fight, we don’t understand each other because of the language barrier and we have some really awkward moments but it’s a hundred percent real,” he added.
With the many opportunities coming his and Miho’s way, Tommy dreams that one day, they will be offered to star in a soap opera. “I’m hoping sana that happens that’s my dream right there.”
Now that Christmas is fast approaching, what are his plans for the holidays and what is his present for Miho and her family? “A lot of plans but I just don’t know what’s going to pull through but I want to do a lot for Miho and her family. I want to do something nice for them. Besides the usual party I want to do something special. Whatever I can give her to make her happy and whatever I can give her to show her what she means to me.” Tommy also shared that this Christmas, he will be flying to the United States to visit his family in California.
